The professional social network LinkedIn is now using its users' personal information to train its creative technology models. Users were automatically included in this data collection without being directly asked first. To stop the company from using your data for generative models in the future, you must go into your account's privacy settings and turn off the feature. However, this action will not remove any data that has already been used for training. There is a second form you must also fill out to opt out of data use for other types of machine learning, such as for personalization. According to the company, this policy does not affect users who live in the European Union, the European Economic Area, or Switzerland.
