Meta has received a patent for technology that can copy a person's online style to keep their account active after they die or stop using it. The system looks at old posts and messages to learn how a person talks so it can make new comments or posts that look real. This could let family members interact with a digital version of a loved one but it also makes people worry about privacy and if it is okay to copy someone who is gone. Meta says this is just an idea for now and they do not have a plan to turn it into a real product yet.
